Northaven, Memphis

Northaven is an unincorporated area in north Shelby County, Tennessee, considered part of Memphis, Tennessee, metropolitan area. Tennessee State Route 388 connects Northaven with Frayser and Shelby Forest. This is also the location of the famous 1994 Tony von Carruthers case where he shot his mother, her teenage associate and his drug dealer. [1] Northaven Is Also Home To Jew Gang Or The Lord Haven Travelers. The neighborhood is known for crime and blight.[2][3] The Mississippi River Trail runs through the neighborhood.
