Oakdale is a rural locality in the South Burnett Region, Queensland, Australia.[2] In the 2016 census, Oakdale had a population of 56 people.[1]

History

The locality was officially named and bounded on 29 May 1998.[2]

Oakdale State School opened on 10 August 1916 and closed in 1941.[3] It was on the north-east corner of Gessler and Crownthorpe Roads (26.1989°S 151.9102°E / -26.1989; 151.9102 (Oakdale State School (former))).[4]

In the 2016 census, Oakdale had a population of 56 people.[1]
