Paul Bristow
Paul Bristow (born 27 March 1979) is a British Conservative Party politician who has served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Peterborough since the 2019 general election.

Early life
Paul Bristow[2] was born in 1979 in York, North Yorkshire.[3] He is the son of Alan Bristow (1942–2020), who was also a Conservative politician active in local politics.[4] Bristow moved to Whittlesey (10 miles from Peterborough) when he was five years old, where he attended primary and secondary school.[5] He studied politics at university. He previously worked for former MP Richard Spring.
Political career
In 2006, Bristow was elected to the Hammersmith and Fulham Council as a councillor for the Fullham Reach ward.[6]
Bristow contested the seat of Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland in the 2010 general election, coming in second place with 35.6% of the vote.[7]
In the 2019 general election, he contested the seat of the Peterborough constituency, winning it from incumbent Lisa Forbes, achieving a majority of 2,580 votes.[8] Since March 2020, he has been a member of the Health and Social Care Committee.[9]
Personal life
Bristow is a supporter of York City F.C.[10] He is married and has two young children.
