In 2005 Nikomarov established 7 Mile Spirits LLC with the goal of developing a true Russian vodka using his father's recipe, which has been passed down from generation to generation. The first shipment of Ruskova was imported to Florida and Georgia and sales quickly took off. Today, the brand is available in 36 states. Ruskova has won the Double gold medal awarded by San Francisco International Spirit competition.

Nikomarov has recently announced that Ruskova has gone through a complete label modification and repackaging. The brands new look is more in tune with the new modern Russia. However, buyers will continue to enjoy the same beverage and at the same competitive price.[1]

The manufacturer has plans to start selling this vodka in South America,[2] but currently operates throughout the United States and Alaska.[3]
