Professional career

Washington Redskins

The Washington Redskins selected Daniels with 232nd overall pick of the 2016 NFL Draft.[5][6] Daniels suffered a torn labrum during the team's training camp in August 2016, requiring surgery and prematurely ending his rookie season.[7] On May 2, 2017, Daniels was waived by the team.[8]

Philadelphia Eagles

On May 3, 2017, Daniels was claimed off waivers by the Philadelphia Eagles.[9] He was waived by the Eagles on June 1, 2017, but re-signed with them on a three-year contract on July 26.[10][11] He was waived again on August 12, 2017.[12]

New York Giants

On August 15, 2017, Daniels was signed by the New York Giants.[13] He was waived on September 1, 2017.[14]

Coaching career

Daniels joined the Bryant University football staff in the summer of 2019. He joined the staff serving as the Inside Linebackers coach after working as an intern with the football program at Boston College, followed by serving as a performance and assistant strength coach at Northeastern. Bryant's linebacker corps thrived in its first season with Daniels. The Bulldogs had one earn All-NEC and two more earn Phil Steele All-NEC honors at the end of the season. Daniels watched as Jesse Nemerowicz posted 95 tackles on his way to becoming Bryant's all-time leading tackler with 315. Robert Brown had a breakout year, finishing with 108 tackles, 7.5 TFLs and three forced fumbles.
