It was first described by Gonzalo Rubio and Cristian Stolar in 2020,[2] and is only known from Chaco Province, Argentina.[1] The genus may be related to some species of Wedoquella and Phiale. It was placed in the tribe Aelurillini,[2] part of the Salticoida clade of the subfamily Salticinae.[3]
