The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in South Dakota, as of December 31, 2018, reported 10,654 members in two stakes,[1] 33 congregations (12 wards[2] and 21 branches[2]), in South Dakota.[3][4]

In 2020, the LDS Church canceled services and other public gatherings indefinitely in response to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.[5]
