Tiffany Minerals
The Ute railcrossing is the site of the Tiffany Minerals Company mill that operated in the early 1940s.[2] The location was associated with the Tiffany Minerals Company quarry as of 1946–47.[3] In 1955, it was reported that the quartzite that was mined by Tiffany Minerals at the Eureka deposit located 10 miles northwest of Ute siding was found to be too hard for low-cost milling.[4]
