Uyire (TV series)

Uyire (transl. 'Life') is a 2020 Indian Tamil-language soap opera airing on Colors Tamil from on 2 January 2020.[1] The show stars Manishajith and Amruth Kalam. This series was the remake of a Hindi language television series Choti Sarrdaarni which aired on Colors TV. This series is produced by Nirosha under the banner Box Entertainment.

Plot

A carefree and lucky go, Pavithra falls in love with Varun a simple lad who aspires to be an IAS officer. She becomes pregnant with his child. The area's MLA Veeralakshmi who is Pavithra's mother, Soon she and All learns her pregnancy with Varun's Child refuses to accept Varun as he is financially unstable. Veeralakshmi kills Varun with Pavithra's Brothers and asks Pavithra to marry Sezhiyan, a widower with a five-year-old son Naren and the president of the ruling party in that area. As Veeralakshmi aspires to be an MLA, this was only possible for her if Pavithra marries Sezhiyan. Pavithra disagrees at first but later accepts to save her unborn child from Veeralakshmi's ill intentions. On their wedding night, she reveals to Sezhiyan about her pregnancy and begs him to let her go as she wants to settle far away and bring up her child. Sezhiyan gets angry but later promises that he would get her settled in a far away foreign country. He plans to take Pavithra there where he would get her settled with a new identity but will tell everyone that Pavithra expired in an accident. When they were leaving to for Goa, Naren manages to join themselves, by getting in one of the suitcases. Sezhiyan gifts a house and car to Pavithra, also promising that he wouldn't reveal this to anyone. Sezhiyan is accused of killing Pavithra and is arrested and taken to India and a case is filed and Sezhiyan is about to be punished. But in Goa, As he leaves, Pavithra gets kidnapped by Goons . Pavithra sees the news on the T.V. Meanwhile, Pavithra is stuck with the kidnappers that had guns. She escaped from the goons but was chased by them. She attempted calling to her home from asking people and the phone booth. They make her a prey in an accident that they did intentionally to kill her. But she and her child survived and managed to reach the court and prove Sezhiyan innocent. He then accepts Pavithra's child as his. Sezhiyan and Pavithra tell Naren about her pregnancy. Excited, Naren reveals this to Sezhiyan's sister Chandra,but Pavithra and Sezhiyan hide the truth that she is 3 months and tells everyone she is 1 month as she became pregnant before her marriage. A grand party is organized celebrating Pavithra's pregnancy news. But Chandra finds Pavithra's medical report and comes to know the truth. She rages in anger, but Sezhiyan spoke for Pavithra and saved her from Chandra's wrath. Chandra then tells Pavithra that if she wants all to be happy like before, she has to abort the child and give her 9 days time to decide either Naren or the unborn baby. Whereas, Sezhiyan takes care of Pavithra and the child like his own. Pavithra's mother slaps Rahul's and Naren's teacher and both get suspended. Now she has to apologize in the school's annual day in English, but she doesn't know English. Will it became a major laughing episode or a humiliating one for Pavithra's mother?
