Vamshi Paidipally

Vamshi Paidipally (born 27 July 1978) is an Indian film director and screenwriter known for his works predominantly in Telugu cinema.[2][3] He is known for directing mainstream works such as Munna (2007), Brindavanam (2010), Yevadu (2014), Oopiri (2016) for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Director - Telugu and Maharshi (2019).[4]

Early life

Vamshi Paidipally was born in khanapur, Adilabad, Telangana, India.[1] Since his childhood he has been fascinated by films. His father had a theatre in his district so he grew up in the atmosphere of theater.[5] He did his schooling in Hyderabad Public School, and his intermediate from Little Flower Junior College.[6] He then completed Bachelor's degree in commerce and Master's in Computer Applications from Osmania University, and had worked as a software engineer in Hyderabad.[6]

Personal life

Vamshi Paidipally is married to Malini and has a daughter, named Aadya Paidipally.[7][1]
