WVPS (107.9 MHz) is a non-commercial FM radio station licensed to Burlington, Vermont. The station is owned by Vermont Public Radio, and is an affiliate of VPR's News and Information network. The schedule is mostly news and information programming from National Public Radio (NPR) with some Vermont shows and newscasts. The studios and offices are on Troy Avenue in Colchester, Vermont.

WVPS broadcasts in the HD Radio format. VPR's classical music service is heard on the HD2 subchannel and the BBC World Service is heard on the HD3 subchannel.

Transmitter location

WVPS 107.9 has its transmitter atop of Mount Mansfield, the highest peak in Vermont.[1][2][3] Due to its effective radiated power (ERP) of 48,800 watts, the Class C station can be heard in parts of New York state, Southern Quebec, Northern New Hampshire and as far west as eastern Ontario.
