Welsby, Queensland
Welsby is a coastal locality on Bribie Island within the Moreton Bay Region in Queensland, Australia.[3]

Geography
Welsby is the central part of Bribie Island. The Pumicestone Passage is its western coastal border and the Pacific Ocean is its eastern coastal border. Most of Welsby is within the Bribie Island National Park.
History
It is named for Thomas Welsby, a Queensland politician and sportsperson.[3]
At the 2011 census Welsby had a population of 4 people.[2]
