Wuling Hongguang S3

The Wuling Hongguang S3 (Chinese: 五菱宏光S3) is a Mid-size SUV produced by SAIC-GM-Wuling, the joint venture of Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, Liuzhou Wuling Motors Co and GM China under the Wuling Hongguang product series.[2]

Wuling Hongguang S3 (rear)

The Wuling Hongguang S3 was unveiled during the 2017 Shanghai Auto Show in China. The Hongguang S3 is powered by a 112hp 1.5 liter engine and a 150hp 1.5 liter turbo engine, with both engines mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. As the first SUV of the Wuling brand, the Wuling Hongguang S3 seats seven in a 2-2-3 configuration.[3]


The Wuling Hongguang S3 was aimed at the low end of the market with prices of the Wuling Hongguang S3 ranging from 56,800 to 81,800 yuan ($9012 – 12,778).[4]
