Bhaggolokkhi

Bhagglokkhi is an Indian Bengali language television series produced under the banner of Shashi Mittal and Sumeet Hukamchand Mittal of Shashi Sumeet Productions.[1] It premiered on 31 August 2020 on Star Jalsha.[2][3] It is a remake of Star Vijay's Tamil series Pandian Stores.[4] The series stars Rahul Majumder and Sharly Modak.[5]

Plot

Bodhayon is the head of the family who runs a garment shop named Lakshmi Stores. He has two younger brothers, Rupayan and Subhayan. These three brothers and their paralysed mother lead a happy life. However, the stores which is running in loss and in debt is summoned by the court to seal it. Meanwhile Bhagyasree and Bodhayon get married and Bhagyasree helps her husband to recover their business and also thereby taking care of the family, striving for her acceptance by her mother in law who dislikes her. She takes care of everyone in the family and always be for them. Later, Bodhayon's brothers Subhayan gets married to Riya and Rupayan gets married to Rusha respectively. The drama follows how Bhagyasree maintains the unity of family facing all obstacles.

Production

Development

The shooting of the series was supposed to begin in March 2020. However, due to COVID-19 outbreak in India, all the television and film shootings were indefinitely stalled from 19 March 2020 and the series shooting was postponed.

Release

The first promo was launched on the channel of Star Jalsha on 18 August 2020.
