Star Bharat

Star Bharat is an Indian pay television channel owned by Star India which is a part of Walt Disney Company India.[1] It telecasts mythological, historical, crime and comedy shows. In 1 November 2004, Star Bharat was Launched as Star One. In 18 December 2011, Star Bharat was Launched as Life OK!. In 28 August 2017, Star Bharat was Launched

History

The channel was first launched as Star One, an Indian subscription-television youth channel that primarily broadcast in Hindi on 1 November 2004. Part of News Corporation's Star TV network in Asia and distributed internationally by Fox International Channels. In November 2006, Star One, along with Star Gold, launched in the UK on Sky.

Star One was rebranded as Life OK on 18 December 2011. It was then rebranded again on 28 August 2017 as Star Bharat.[2]

On 30 December 2020, Disney announced that Star Bharat will be replaced with Utsav Bharat across Europefrom 22 January 2021.[3]

Programming

The current series of Star Bharat include Teri Laadli Main, Durga – Mata Ki Chhaya, RadhaKrishn, Amma Ke Babu Ki Baby and Savdhaan India.
