Star Jalsha
Star Jalsha is an Indian general entertainment pay television channel owned by Star India (Disney India).[1] It broadcasts Bengali-language programming, such as family dramas, comedies, reality shows, crime shows and telefilms. It launched its own HD feed on 14 April 2016.

History
Star Jalsha was officially launched on 8 September 2008.[2]
In 2011 it was launched on Pehla platform in Middle East.[3]
In June 2012, it underwent a revamp with a new diamond star logo.[4] On 22 November 2012, the channel was launched in UK.[5]
The channel launched its own high-definition feed, along with Jalsha Movies HD, on 29 April 2016.[6] They were the first Bengali-language HD channels in India.[7][6]
On 2018, Sagnik Ghosh became the head of the channel.[8]
In February 2019, the channel underwent a revamp for the second time with a fresh identity and logo.[9]
