Burgstall, South Tyrol
Burgstall (German pronunciation: [ˈbʊrkʃtal]; Italian: Postal [poˈstal]) is a comune (municipality) in South Tyrol in northern Italy.

Geography
As of 30 November 2010, it had a population of 1,585 and an area of 6.7 square kilometres (2.6 sq mi).[3]
Burgstall borders the following municipalities: Gargazon, Lana, Merano, Mölten, and Vöran.
History
Coat-of-arms
The emblem shows a eurasian sparrowhawk, which is to fly up, on argent. It is the arms of the Knights of Burgstall, the emblem was granted in 1966.[4]
