Canton of Baugy

The Canton of Baugy is a former canton situated in the Cher département and in the Centre region of France. It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. It consisted of 17 communes,[1] which joined the canton of Avord in 2015.[2]

Geography

A farming area in the arrondissement of Bourges. centred on the town of Baugy. The altitude varies from 132m at Moulins-sur-Yèvre to 263m at Gron with an average altitude of 187m.
