Ethiopia at the Africa Cup of Nations

Ethiopia national football team has been one of former Africa's major forces, and has played in every Africa Cup of Nations until the end of 1960s. Ethiopia itself also won an AFCON tournament, the 1962 edition when it was the host.[1] Since then, success has started to fade from Ethiopia's football and after 1982, Ethiopia would have to wait until 2013 when it qualified after 31 years absence.[2]
