Francis Webber (academic)

Francis Webber, D.D. (b Honiton 20 October 1708; d Oxford 29 September 1771) was an Oxford college head in the 18th-century.[1]

Stinton was educated at Exeter College, Oxford.[2] He was a Fellow there from 1728 to 1750; and Rector from 1750 until his death.[3] An ordained Anglican priest, he held the livings at St John the Baptist, Burford; All Saints' Newchurch, Isle of Wight; and St Clement, Oxford.[4]
