Hinton, California
Hinton is an unincorporated community in Nevada County, California.[1] It lies at an elevation of 5499 feet (1676 m).[1] Hinton is located on the Southern Pacific Railroad, 7 miles (11.3 km) east-northeast of Truckee.[2]
