 The Netherlands

 IllegalIllegalIllegalIllegalAmanita muscaria and Amanita pantherina are illegal to buy, sell, or possess since December 2008. Possession of amounts larger than 0.5 g dried or 5 g fresh lead to a criminal charge.[2]

 Thailand

 IllegalIllegalIllegalIllegalThe use, storage, transportation and distribution of Amanita mushrooms is illegal. According to Thai law, hallucinogenic mushrooms relates to the Five Category of drugs.[3]

 Ukraine

 LegalLegalLegalLegalAmanita mushroom is not included in the list of prohibited drugs in Ukraine. However, some species of these fungi may contain DMT, which is prohibited by law.

 United States

Legal in most states with few exceptions mentioned below.

 LegalLegalLegalLegalIn Louisiana, except for ornamental purposes, growing, selling or possessing Amanita muscaria is prohibited by Louisiana State Act 159.
