M48A2E1 Chaparral N/A  United States Self-propelled surface-to-air missile system. 19 in service in the A3 and 11 in the A2 versions.[12][13] The Portuguese army launched an acquisition contract for the purchase of new anti-aircraft defense systems which include eight weapon terminals for the Integrated Anti-Aircraft Artillery Command and Control System, two local warning radars, eight light missile systems integrated into vehicles light armored tactics or medium armored tactical vehicles, and eight light armored or medium armored tactical vehicles.[14]

Field artillery
M109A5 155mm  United States 18 M109A5. In process of overhaul (little modernization and repair).[15]
M114A1 155mm  United States 40 in service since 1983 in the BrigInt. 24 reactivated to equip the BrigInt Field Artillery Battalion. The army want to replace them in the next years.[16][12]
L118 light gun 105mm  United Kingdom 21 in service. The Portuguese Army is considering to add a few improvements to its BAE Systems M119 Light Gun 105mm lightweight towed howitzers. They are essentially fielded by the Rapid Reaction Brigade.[17]
