In The Lion King (2019 film), Shenzi (voiced by Florence Kasumba) is a matriarch, while Banzai and Ed had their names changed to Kamari (voiced by Keegan-Michael Key) and Azizi (voiced by Eric Andre) who are both her subordinates. Unlike the 1994 animated counterpart, Azizi is the third hyena who talks and always gets into Kamari's personal space.
