Pendleton  United States The 228-foot (69 m), 1,349-gross register ton four-masted lumber schooner was abandoned at the Palmer Shipyard on the west side of the Mystic River in Noank, Connecticut, sometime during the 1940s, gradually rotted away, and settled on the river bottom in 10 feet (3.0 m) of water.[1]
Captain Sturt Australia The paddle steamer sank off Kangaroo Island, South Australia.[2]
Dalhousie  United Kingdom World War II: The tug (782 GRT, 1885) was scuttled.[3]
Fern  United States With no one on board, the 10-gross register ton, 34.2-foot (10.4 m) motor cargo vessel was wrecked in the middle of George Inlet on the southern coast of Revillagigedo Island in the Alexander Archipelago in Southeast Alaska.[4]
Haalegg  Norway World War II: The cargo ship (1,758 GRT, 1922) was either bombed and sunk at Narvik, Norway, by Luftwaffe aircraft on 17 May; or was shelled and sunk by Royal Navy ships on 13 April. Raised in 1945, repaired and returned to service.[5]

HMAS Psyche Australia The lighter (2,135 t, 1898) sank in Salamander Bay, New South Wales off Port Stephens.[11]
Raab Karcher  Germany World War II: The cargo ship was bombed and sunk in the Oosterschelde.[12]
