Pru District

Pru District is a former district that was located in the Brong-Ahafo Region of Ghana.[1] It was originally part of the then-larger Atebubu District until 12 November 2003; when it was split off by a decree of president John Agyekum Kufuor. However in March 2018, Pru East District was created; thus the remaining original part has been s since then officially called Pru West District.[2][3][4] The district assembly was located in the east central part of Brong-Ahafo Region and had Yeji as its capital town.
