Rajalakshmi Institute of Technology (RIT) is an NBA accredited and NIRF2020 ranked engineering college in Chennai ,Tamil Nadu, India. RIT is approved by AICTE and affiliated with Anna University, Chennai. RIT is located in Chennai-Bangalore National Highway near satellite city and opposite to EVP film city with LEED U.S.A Certified India’s First Gold Rated Green building-Admin Block. RIT is a futuristic and industry connected engineering college. RIT is known for its placement and student friendly approach. RIT is one of the NIRF2020 ranked youngest institute in the state. The Institution has signed MoU’s with several leading industries and Foreign Universities. State of the art, tech enabled green campus with an emphasis on self-sustenance. The students are also provided with a rich experience that extends beyond their classrooms. The Entrepreneurship Development Cell and the Innovative Projects Cell encourage and fine tune the innovative spirit and ideas of the young entrepreneurs and scientists. They are also encouraged to positively influence the society that they live in through the Rotaract, EDC, STEAM, NSS, YRC, CII- Yuva and ENACTUS forums. In a nutshell, the students at RIT become fully equipped to make indispensable contributions to the organizations they work for, and the society they are part of.
