Satyawati College

Satyawati College is a university college in Delhi, India, affiliated to the University of Delhi.[1] It offers both morning and evening classes[2] to a student base of almost 2,400, with a permanent teaching staff of around 150.[3][4]

History

The college was established in 1972 by the Government of Delhi,[5] while "Evening college" was established in 1973.[6] It is one of the constituent colleges of Delhi University that lies in North campus, in Phase-3, Ashok Vihar, Delhi.[7] The college is named after Satyavati Devi.

About

The college is closest to the University of Delhi North Campus and is 3 km distance from SRCC College. Courses covered include B.Com (Hons.), B.Com Prog. B.A (Hons.) Economics and B.Sc Mathematics. Satyawati College is maintained by Delhi Government as well as by Delhi University. The college is also equipped with Pollution Level Display within its campus.
