Straub's Markets

Straub's Markets (or Straub's Fine Grocers) is a specialty food retailer headquartered in downtown Clayton, Missouri founded in 1901 by William A. Straub. From selling ice cream at the 1904 St. Louis World's Fair to expanding from Webster Groves to Clayton in 1933, the Central West End in 1948, and Town and Country in 1966, Straub’s currently has four locations throughout the Greater St. Louis Area.[1] The company is known for its "World Famous Chicken Salad," of which over 35 tons are sold each year.[2] This family-owned company is currently owned and operated by Jack W. "Trip" Straub III.[3]
