Tāmaki Māori
The Māori iwi (tribes) of the Tāmaki (Auckland) area of New Zealand are Ngāti Pāoa, Ngāi Tai, Te Wai-o-Hua, Ngāti Te Ata, Te Kawerau a Maki and Ngāti Whātua-o-Ōrākei (the last a hapu or sub-tribe of Ngāti Whatua).[1]
