Taksar, Bhojpur
Taksar is a former VDC and now a neighborhood of Bhojpur Municipality in Bhojpur District in the Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 4,524 persons living in 829 individual households.[1]

On 18 May 2014 Government of Nepal declared 72 new municipality within the whole country.[2] Same time Bhojpur Municipality declared, incorporating Bhojpur, Bhaisipankha, Bokhim and Taksar VDCs diving in 11 ward units.
Now total population of Taksar (according to the 2011 Nepal census) is 3,350 individuals and area of the Taksar is 20.72 square kilometres (8.00 sq mi). It is Ward No. 12 of Bhojpur Municipality. [3]
