Thode, Saskatchewan

Thode (2016 population: 157) is a resort village in the Canadian province of Saskatchewan within Census Division No. 11. It is on the shores of Blackstrap Lake in the Rural Municipality of Dundurn No. 314. It is east of the Town of Dundurn.

With a land area of 0.73 km2 (0.28 sq mi), it had a population density of 215.1/km2 (557.0/sq mi) in 2016.[4]

In the 2011 Census of Population, the Resort Village of Thode recorded a population of 157, a 0.6% change from its 2006 population of 156. With a land area of 0.73 km2 (0.28 sq mi), it had a population density of 215.1/km2 (557.0/sq mi) in 2011.[7]

Government

The Resort Village of Thode is governed by an elected municipal council and an appointed administrator that meets on the third Thursday of every month.[3] The mayor is Alan Thomarat and its administrator is Jessie Williams.[3]
