Varasichthys

Varasichthys is an extinct genus of prehistoric bony fish that lived during the Oxfordian stage of the Late Jurassic epoch.[1] Fossils have been found in the Domeyko Range of Antofagasta Region, northern Chile.[3] The genus has been compared with other South American fishes as Luisiella and Protoclupea.[4]
