  1. Official page for league is TFF league page. Standings, promotion and relegations from Cem Pekin Archives; and standings and results from maçkolik.com league page, retrieved on 26 February 2015.
  2. Kayseri Erciyesspor finished the season at second place and gained direct promotion to 2004–05 Süper Lig. The club interchanged their name and logo with those of Kayserispor (who finished 6th and could not promote) upon the request of 11th President of Turkey Abdullah Gül, then Minister of Foreign Affairs and Deputy Prime Minister and Member of Parliament for Kayseri. Therefore, before that season two teams take the place of each other in TFF archive pages. See TFF club pages for Kayseri Erciyesspor and Kayserispor.
  3. Göztepe side have experienced financial difficulties and relegated from 2006–07 Turkish Third Football League. Before the start of 2008–09 Turkish Third Football League the team merged with Aliağa Belediyespor and two clubs changed their names and logos. Therefore before that season two teams take the place of each other in TFF archive pages. See TFF website club pages for Göztepe and Aliağa Belediyespor (now "Aliağaspor").
  4. Büyükşehir Belediye Ankaraspor appears as Osmanlıspor in TFF reports. Team's name has been changed to simply Ankaraspor before the start of 2005–06 season. Büyükşehir Belediye means "metropolitan municipality" in Turkish. Before the start of 2014–15 season owners of the club changed its name as Osmanlıspor F.K. (meaning Ottoman Sports F.C.). When a team changes its name, in TFF Info Bank its name in previous seasons also changes. Therefore in all game reports and league tables team appears with its new name. See TFF club page and league pages in tff.org.
  5. İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyespor appears as İstanbul Başakşehir in TFF reports. This is because İstanbul Büyükşehir Belediyesi Sports Club separated its football section and renamed it İstanbul Başakşehir Football Club before the start of 2014–15 football season. When a team changed its name its name in pages for previous seasons also changed. Therefore all the team names except those appear in weekly game results changed as İstanbul Başakşehir.
