  1. Originally, Baraúnas, Grêmio Barueri, Brasiliense, CRAC and Rio Branco were relegated to the Série D.However, Betim was punished by the FIFA Disciplinary Committee with the loss 6 points due to a debt regarding the sale of a player to Nacional da Madeira contracted in 2006.the team didn't accept the loss of points, which would mean that the team would lose its spot in the quarterfinals to Mogi Mirim, and appealed to the common courts even before any rejection of its appeals to the Sports Courts, which led STJD to exclude Betim from the championship.later, the decision of excluding the team was reverted, but the loss of points remained. However, Betim managed to obtain a preliminary injunction reversing the loss of points as well. unable to dismiss the injunction, CBF confirmed Betim on the quarterfinals, where it was eliminated by Santa Cruz. Eventually, for not having appealed to the sports courts before going top the common courts, Betim was eventually excluded from the Série C, which led Tiradentes-CE, Metropolitano-SC, that had been eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Série D of 2013, and Brasiliense, that had the best performance among the relegated, to claim the spot of Betim in the Série C of 2014.However, STJD chose to give the berth to CRAC, that had the best performance among the relegated of Group B.
