2016 Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council election
The 2016 Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council election took place on 5 May 2016 to elect members of Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council in England.[1] This was on the same day as other local elections. One third of the council was up for election, with each successful candidate serving a four-year term of office, expiring in 2020. The Conservative Party held overall control of the council.
