– Expected delayed completion of the Regional Connector in Los Angeles.[5]

– The Link light rail Line T is expected to be extended to the Hilltop neighborhood of Tacoma, Washington.[6][7][8]

June

– Milan Metro Line 4 extension to Dateo.[9]

July

– Greater Jakarta LRT opening.[10]

August

– Expected start of passenger service through the Regional Connector in Los Angeles.[11]

October

– Earliest opening of the Red Line of the Tel Aviv Light Rail.[12]

December

– Expected completion of Wendlingen–Ulm high-speed railway.[13]
– Milan Metro Line 4 extension to San Babila.[14]
– Lagos Rail Mass Transit estimated opening.
– The Follo Line is expected to open after delay.
– Extension of Tamsui–Xinyi line in Taipei to Guangci–Fengtian Temple opens.
– Service begins along New York City's East Side Access, bringing Long Island Rail Road trains into Grand Central Terminal.[15]

– O-Train Trillium Line Stage 2 earliest opening date.
– The first phase of the Réseau express métropolitain in Montreal is scheduled to open.[16]
