Allahabad (Lok Sabha constituency)

Allahabad is a Lok Sabha (parliamentary) constituency in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The constituency is also known as Prayagraj, after the city's official name change in October 2018.

Allahbad is a prestigious constituency because Lal Bahadur Shastri became Prime Minister while representing it. Later V P Singh was elected twice from this constituency and went on to become Prime Minister.[2][3][4]
