Amruthalur
Amruthalur is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Amruthaluru mandal in Tenali revenue division.[4] The village forms a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region and is under the jurisdiction of APCRDA.[5]

Geography
Amruthaluru is situated to the southwest of the mandal headquarters, Amruthaluru,[4] at 16°07′3.68″N 80°39′35.5″E. It is spread over an area of 1,499 ha (3,700 acres).[2]
Government and politics
Amruthaluru Gram Panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[1] There are 14 wards, each represented by an elected ward member.[6] The present sarpanch is vacant, elected by the ward members.[7] The village is administered by the Amruthaluru Mandal Parishad at the intermediate level of panchayat raj institutions.[4]
Education
As per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has a total of 9 schools. These include one private and 8 Zilla/Mandal Parishad.[8]
