Chinnasalem

Chinnasalem is a Special Grade Town Panchayat in Kallakurichi district in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is also the headquarters of Chinnasalem Taluk.It is the second fastest growing town in Kallakurichi district. It is a center place in Chennai – Coimbatore cities. It has nearly 75 rice mills, which are the major source of employment. There are thousand no of paddy harvesters who are going to cultivate paddy in all over Tamil Nadu and other south Indian states. Chinnasalem is also famous for its wood crafts. These industrial exports are shipped to other parts of the state and internationally.
