Dibrugarh Airport

Dibrugarh Airport (IATA: DIB, ICAO: VEMN), is located at Mohanbari, distance about 15 km (9 mi) north-east from Dibrugarh Town, Assam, India. The airport covers an area of 386 acres. There are 2 aerobridges links with the terminal. The only runway of the airport, 05/23 is being extended to 7,500 feet to facilitate the landing and take-off of mid-sized aircraft like Airbus A320 and Boeing B737 with full load.[2]

History

The airport was established in early 1950s. In February 2009, a new terminal building was opened which can handle 500 passengers at a time.
