This is a list of accidents where all or part of a major sports team had been killed or seriously injured.

They were traveling to Goiânia for an away game against Vila Nova in the Copa Verde. The players were traveling in a private plane because they had tested positive for COVID-19 while the rest of the team would travel on a commercial flight. [17]
