List of churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia

This is a list of current and former Roman Catholic churches in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Philadelphia.[1] The cathedral church of the diocese is the Cathedral-Basilica of Ss. Peter & Paul. There are more than 200 churches in the archdiocese, divided for administrative purposes into four episcopal regions, each headed by an auxiliary bishop, and 12 deaneries. The Archbishop of Philadelphia has general oversight of the whole archdiocese.[2]

St. Thomas of Villanova Church Villanova Completed in 1887, serves as the church St. Thomas of Villanova parish and for Villanova University. It is the center of Augustinian activity in the United States.
St. John Chrysostom Wallingford
St. Katharine of Siena Wayne Established in 1895 by mostly poor Irish immigrants after developers in Wayne offered each Christian denomination a parcel of land. In 1916, the first St. Katharine’s school opened with 168 students. [38]
