This is a list of earthquakes in 2021. Only earthquakes of magnitude 6 or above are included, unless they result in damage or casualties, or are notable for some other reason. All dates are listed according to UTC time. The maximum intensities would be based on the Modified Mercalli intensity scale, and all data are sourced from the United States Geological Survey.

A number of public buildings around Khövsgöl lake and as far south as Mörön were damaged with cracked walls and broken windows. In Mörön, 53 people had to be treated for symptoms such as heart problems and high blood pressure.[13][14] - 53

14[17]  Indonesia, West Sulawesi, 32 km south of Mamuju 6.2 18.0 VIII The 2021 West Sulawesi earthquake caused widespread damage in Mamuju Regency, including hotel and hospital collapses. Landslides also occurred and various roads were blocked. 105 people died, three people are reported missing, and more than 3,300 others were injured. It is currently the deadliest earthquake of 2021.[18][19] 105 3,369

23[27]  Spain, Andalusia, 3 km south southeast of Chauchina 4.3 10.0 IV It was part of an earthquake swarm. Some houses were slightly damaged in Atarfe. One elderly man was injured by a fallen chimney.[28] - 1
23[29]  Antarctica offshore, South Shetlands Islands 6.9 9.6 IV Small tsunami waves were observed with a maximum height of 4 cm. A building was damaged at a Chilean scientific base in Antarctica.[30][31] - -
28[32]  Spain, Andalusia, Chauchina 4.3 10.0 IV It was part of an earthquake swarm. Light damage was caused to some houses in Granada, including a roof collapse.[33] - -
31[34]  Guyana, Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo, 83 km south southeast of Lethem 5.6 7.2 VII It was the strongest earthquake ever recorded in Guyana. lt was felt in the states of Roraima and Amazonas in Brazil.[35][36] Property damage was reported in Upper Takutu-Upper Essequibo.[37] - -
