List of vice presidents of the Philippines by age

This is a List of vice presidents of the Philippines, in order of longevity. There are currently fourteen vice presidents on the list and six living vice presidents since Maria Leonor G. Robredo was inaugurated as the 13th vice president of the Philippines on June 30, 2016.

The list is in descending order and is correct as of 27 January 2021. The longest-lived vice president was Fernando Lopez (1904–1993), who died at the age of 89 years, 43 days. The oldest living former vice president, Teofisto Guingona (born 4 July 1928), had already tied Lopez on August 16, 2017, and also he also surpassed the longevity becoming the longest lived vice president when he turned 90 on July 4, 2018. The second oldest living former vice president, Joseph Estrada (born April 19, 1937), will also tie Lopez if he lives to June 1, 2026.

To account for the different number of leap days within the life of each vice president, two measure of longevity are given. The first is the number of whole years the president lived, and the number of days past their last birthday. The second list the total number of days lived by the president, accounting for differing numbers of leap years within the lifespans of different presidents.

Only one Philippine vice president has lived past 90 years of age. The first to do so, Teofisto Guingona, Jr., held the distinction of being the oldest living vice president since 2003 and longest-lived since 2017.

Oldest living Vice Presidents of the Philippines

Not all vice presidents live to become the oldest of their time. Of the 7 deceased presidents, 5 eventually became the oldest of their time, while 2 did not. Sergio Osmeña became the oldest living president when he started his office in 1935 and remained so until his death in 1961, for a record 25 years, 338 days.

Diosdado Macapagal was the oldest to acquire this distinction at the age of 82 years, 240 days. Salvador Laurel, who died on 27 January 2004, at the age of 75 years, 60 days old is the most recent vice president to die without ever acquiring this distinction.
