Metro Cebu Expressway
The Metro Cebu Expressway (MCE) is a 74-kilometre (46 mi) expressway that would connect the Cebu North Road in the city of Danao to the Naga–Toledo Road in the city of Naga, Philippines, and will serve as an alternative north-south backbone highway for Cebu.[1]

As of January 3, 2020, only a portion of a road in Barangays Pangdan and Cantao-an in Naga City, Cebu, which is part of the MCE's third segment, has been constructed so far. Its first and second segments are currently on hold until the approval of unsolicited proposals coming from private firms and road right-of-way acquisitions.[2]
