History

The 52-story hotel opened in June 1990 as Macklowe Hotel, incorporated and renewed the adjacent Hudson Theatre as a meeting space, and was owned and operated by Harry B. Macklowe until 1994.[5] The hotel along with the theatre were purchased by Millennium & Copthorne Hotels in 1994. The Hudson Theatre has been redeveloped into an active Broadway theatre in 2017.

The hotel has started an affiliation with Hilton Hotels in June 2019 and has been rebranded as Millennium Times Square New York.[6]
