Mohamed Hussein Roble
Mohamed Hussein Roble (Somali: Maxamed Xuseen Rooble; born October 1963) is the current Prime Minister of Somalia, serving in office since 23 September 2020. Before entering politics, he served as the member of International Labour Organization and environmental engineer.[1][2]

Biography
He was born in Hobyo in October 1963. Hailing from the Reer Hilowle, Sacad, Habar Gidir subclan of Hawiye, similar to that of the first Prime Minister of Somalia, Abdullahi Issa. He received a BSc in Civil Engineering from the Somali National University, and later attended the KTH Royal Institute of Technology where he completed an MA in environmental engineering and sustainable engineering.[3]
He was appointed to the post of prime minister by the president of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmaajo in September. He was chosen on 18 September 2020 and was confirmed by the Federal Parliament of Somalia unanimously on 23 September. He set out his first agenda in a speech that he made to the Parliament of Somalia.[4]
2020 Galkayo bombing
On December 18, 2020, Roble was due to address a gathering at a stadium in Galkayo. Minutes before his arrive, a suicide bomber blew himself up outside the stadium, killing seven civilians and three soldiers.[5]
