This is the second church for St. John's. The church was built in 1917, in the Greek Revival style. Construction started on February 28, 1917. The first church service was on May 8, 1889. On March 29, 1939, Clark Gable and Carole Lombard were married here. The church is on the National Register of Historic Places, number 86001170.
