Tonashen
Tonashen (Armenian: Տոնաշեն; Azerbaijani: Tonaşen) or Tapakend (Azerbaijani: Təpəkənd) is a village in the Tartar District of Azerbaijan. Since the First Nagorno-Karabakh war the village has been under the control of the self-proclaimed Republic of Artsakh as part of its Martakert Province. The village has an ethnic Armenian-majority population, and also had an Armenian majority in 1989.[2]
